And I want to share a verse of Scripture with us.
Please, go with me to Ps.46:10, "Be still and know (recognize, understand) that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations! I will be exalted in the earth." (AMP)
Okay,
What does it mean to be still before God?
I'd love to answer it this way,
To be still before God simply means to let go! It doesn't necessarily mean to be 'quiet' as some people think.
Every time you see the word, 'still' in Scriptures.., God is simply telling you to let go- your fears, worries irrespective of the storm.
Here's why?
The point where we let go is the point that Jehovah takes up and over our [secret] battles, fears, worries, challenges and gives us the victory and peace that we so desire.
Therefore, let go and let God.
Stop fretting.
Stop considering the size of the ocean that is before you.
Do not focus on the roaring thunder.
Ignore the mountains.
Rather, be still.
For in our stillness lies the strength we require to rise above whatever is up against our lives and destinies.
I tell you what, this is one secret to releasing God's power on your behalf in times of trouble.
