The Power of His Presence

Memory Verse: "My presence will travel with you, and I will give you rest." (Ex.33:14, VOICE)

Scripture Reading: Ex.33:1-19.

Just as the Lord replied these words to Moses when he was worried about leading the children of Israel alone, God goes with you, too.

Whatever it is you’re faced with this week, be confident that God goes with you as long He is Your Father.

Perhaps you’ve been abandoned by others,  or  maybe the people you thought you could count on just aren’t able to be there for you because they’re dealing with so much on their own. Or maybe you’re not sure who you can trust with what you're currently passing through.

If that’s you or someone you know, know you are not the first of God’s children who has been alone or felt alone. Remember today that your God will go with you, and because of that, you will  never  be  alone,  no matter how often you feel that way.

Because of this, you can truly rest, knowing that the presence of God is always with you.

The more you begin to embrace this, the more you will begin to see that it’s not your earthly relationships that will give the comfort you need throughout the day. It’s not a text message or a certain amount of money in your bank account that will give you peace.

Instead, you will find that it is in the presence of the Lord that you find rest. Your  relationship with Jesus is what gives you true rest in the Lord.

Never take this for granted. Relish in it and find true joy, peace and contentment. Encourage someone with this today!

Ponder Point: One moment in God's presence can rewrite an entire story.

Action Point: Seek God's presence.

Prayer Point: Father, strip me of whatever chokes Your presence in my life. Let my life be inhabitable for Your presence in Jesus name, Amen.
