Trusting God Made Easy (VII)

Memory Verse: "...but the people who know their God shall prove themselves strong and shall stand firm and do exploits [for God]." (Dan.11:32, AMP)

Scripture  Reading: 2 Tim.1:1-14.

For the past six (6) days, we have been all about this particular subject and let us have a recap (close your eyes and try to say them to yourself) before I give us the last point:

  • Anyone can have childlike faith.
  • Any believer can grow in faith.
  • God loves you.
  • God's faithfulness is greater than your circumstances.
  • Your mental focus will help or hinder your faith.
  • You don't have to believe everything you think.
And here's the seventh:

  • The better you KNOW God, the easier it is to trust Him.
Do you trust anyone you do not know? I don't. You? I do not want to think so.

The fact is that the better you know someone, the more you to tend to trust that person. That is, if the person has been trustworthy. And when it comes to God, there are a million and one reasons to trust Him.

The more of these reasons you embrace as you get to know your Creator, the more you will find yourself trusting. It is not rocket science, if it were, most children and adults would not be able to possess strong faith. We wouldn't be smart enough. But genuine faith is built upon the foundation of revelation and this revelation is more profound than rocket science.

Daddy has made it relatively easy for us. He designed things in ways that those who approach Him with childlike faith usually "get it." Whereas those who approach God from a proud and "enlightened" perspective tend to miss Him completely. You too, do you like complicated people? Why would you think approaching Daddy from a complicated dimension will secure His attention.?

Please, come like a child that you are- you are not an "adult" but a child of God, irrespective of your  [spiritual] title, position and class.

Ponder Point: You cannot know God and doubt Him: those who doubt Him have never known Him.

Action Point: Set out to know God from His word.

Prayer Point: Father, give me a personal revelation of Yourself from Your Word in Jesus name, Amen.
