You and Your Seed.

If God gives you a seed, He expects you to plant it, water it and prune it until harvest because we will give account for the seed He has put IN us.

A seed?...

Yes! A seed...
The seed of purpose, it is.

Let's go...

"Then he took some of the seed of the land and planted it in fruitful soil. He placed it beside abundant waters. He set it like a willow twig." (Ezek.17:5, TLV)

One beautiful thing that has helped me (and still helping me) in my little understanding of the word of God is that when I'm studying the word, I let loose my imagination as I read! And I encourage you to do same as you read.

Now when I encountered Ezek.17:5; pictorially I saw My Father as a farmer in His agricultural work clothes swing into action with His carefully selected tools doing what He knows how to do best-- tending the soil, watering the furrows, blessing the growth of the seed with abundant water and wraps it all up with a rich harvest! Interesting isn't it?

We know God as so many things, but have you ever thought of God as A FARMER? This is one reason I love about my Father: He can be anything you want Him to be to you at any time in your life! Again, I ask if have you ever pictured your life as a [fruitful] soil where God has planted a seed IN?

It will interest us to know that before we were deployed to earth from heaven, God did some agricultural work on us- we were worked on and He put the seed of purpose IN us. The Bible tells us in Is.65:8: "...Destroy it not; for there is a blessing in it..." This is the reason you made it through the storm, little wonder you've been through hell and high water and you're still standing.

WHY?

The seed. The seed cannot be destroyed because embedded in your seed [of purpose] is a BLESSING for your generation. You were born with a seed. Your purpose is the seed inside of you.

I have come to create an awareness that there is a seed of purpose IN you calling out for expression and I believe an in-depth look at our anchor scripture will help me achieve that.

1. "Then he took some of the seed of the land and planted it in fruitful soil...": When God was shaping you, He deposited "treasure" withIN you. He looked at your life (soil) and He put a seed that can grow on your soil type- your soil type allows for the growth and germination of your seed. Sweetheart, the fellow that looked at you and said you have nothing to offer is a LIAR. YOU have something to offer and your generation will be robbed if you don not allow this seed bear fruit and blossom through your life. May Jehovah cause a stir and let what's IN you come out in Jesus name.

2. "...He placed it beside abundant waters...": Our emphasis here is on "abundant waters". What does this mean? Just as water is needed in the natural to grow a seed, the water of the word poured on your seed of purpose helps your seed to bud. "For there is hope of a tree, if it be cut down, that it will sprout again, and that the tender branch thereof will not cease. Though the root thereof wax old in the earth, and the stock thereof die in the ground; Yet through the scent of water it will bud, and bring forth boughs like a plant." (Job 14:7-9, KJV)

Did you SEE verse 9? "Yet through the scent (smell) of the water [of the word], it will bud..." Now that's at the scent of water, how much more being placed beside abundant waters?! Baby, this should get you excited.

It may look like your seed of purpose is dead, or you're limited due to a circumstance or some certain human forces are trying to frustrate your fruiting, do not despair because the abundant waters of the word (through this article) will cause that seed to come alive and you will be set up by God as a willow twig in Jesus name.

Now that you are aware there is a seed in you...
